The newly elected General Secretary, Ohanaeze Ndigbo UK/Ireland, Mrs. Pam Orabuche, has pledged to advance the organization’s mission by fostering unity, transparency, and stronger communication.
In her statement made available to the UK press, she said, “I am deeply humbled and grateful to have been elected as the General Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo UK & Ireland”.

Mrs. Orabuche emphasized that these values will serve as the foundation for supporting and expanding Ohanaeze Ndigbo development projects across the diaspora.
She said, “I will champion unity, transparency, and progress by strengthening communication between chapters, supporting Ohanaeze development projects, and ensuring our voice resonates at every level”.
She affirmed her commitment to building bridges among members, strengthening organizational governance, and ensuring that every initiative reflects the collective aspirations of the Igbo community, stating that their leadership marks a renewed chapter of inclusivity and accountability, aimed at empowering Ohanaeze Ndigbo UK/Ireland to play an even greater role in advancing the welfare and development of Ndigbo at home and abroad.
She expressed gratitude for the mandate, noting that she is inspired to serve with integrity, passion, and diligence.
Mrs. Orabuche stressed that the administration will be guided by transparency, accountability, and a commitment to strengthening communication across the diaspora.
