The Nigeria Senate has allegedly stopped the confirmation of three ministerial nominees of President Bola Tinubu, because of “security report yet to be cleared.”
At the time of filing this report, the President of Senate, Godswill Akpabio, was quoted to have said this on Monday.
He said: “the Senate did not clear because of security reports that must be cleared.”
The ministerial nominees were said to be the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State and the ministerial nominee from Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
The former Deputy Governor of Taraba State and a Ministerial nominee from the State, Senator Abubakar Danladi. Also, Ministerial nominees from Delta State, Stella Okotete.
However, 45 ministerial nominees out of 48, have so far been confirmed by the Nigeria.
