APGA Calls On EFCC To Investigate Imo State Local Government’s Allocation In The Past Nineteen Months.

By Ejike Ikezuagu – UK.

The Imo state, All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA has called the EFCC to investigate on the 27 Local Government’s allocation in Imo state for the past nineteen months.

Comrade Chilagorom Ifeanyi, Director-General, Imo APGA Media who made this information available to Ogene Ndigbo Newspaper said, the Imo state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma is nowhere to be found within the state for a long time, stating that in Imo state today, there is no local government chairmen, no commissioners and there is no SSAs.

According to the APGA Media Director, the party has said, there is no government in Imo state now. The party regretted that it is unfortunate the state has turned to a state with no leadership as the number one citizen and Chief Security Officer of the state, Senator Hope Uzodimma is nowhere to be found within the state, Douglas House is vacant, Comrade Chilagorom said, stating that Imo state is handicapped at the moment in terms of leadership.

He said, “this is the worst in the history of Imo State, where a Governor leads the people from Abuja and from other parts of the country”.

“He whose house is on fire, does not chase rats” he maintained.

He expressed concern on how Senator Uzodimma has preferred politicking with the life of Imo citizens to continue pleasing those who illegally made him Governor, Comrade Chilagorom said.

According to him, he said, the governor is now focused on Anambra election, instead of coming home to properly lead the good people of Imo State.

He queried by saying, what exactly have the people of Imo state done to deserve this? Since the emergence of this present administrator, the people of Imo have not had breath of fresh air. It has been from one ugly and heart-breaking incident to another. It is very unfortunate how Imo State has been sold to the enemies for power. There have been no developmental projects, no good road network and no job creation as Imo has really lost its glory.

He frowned his face that Senator Uzodimma has chosen to govern the State from Abuja, when he is supposed to be on ground to observe what is happening in the State. He said, the governor does not care about the pains and sufferings of Imo citizens, stating that the lives and property of Imo citizens are unsafe since there is no leadership in the state. He said hunger and hardship have remained the order of the day.

Comrade Chilagorom regretted, saying, upon the huge amount of funds the governor is receiving monthly as Local Government Monthly Allocations the governor has nothing to show in terms of rural development.

He further said, upon the billion-naira State Monthly Allocations for the past nineteen months, the present government continues to live in its shadows. What exactly has Senator Uzodimma done with the 27 Imo LGA Allocations, he queried.

Who is in charge of Imo LGAs? Comrade Chilagorom asked.

The DG Imo APGA Media, Comrade Chilagorom Ifeanyi asked God to deliver Imo State from the hands of political bandits.
